Discrimination Against Christians

Discrimination against Christians is the unfair treatment of a person based on their religion, which in this case, is Christianity. This type of discrimination can occur in virtually any setting: employment, housing, public accommodation, education, or even lending, to name a few. When hiring, an employer might discriminate against a Christian by refusing to hire a Christian though they are qualified. Discrimination against Christians can occur similarly in housing if a seller refuses to sell a home to a Christian. In education, a form of discrimination against Christians may involve disallowing a religious club.

However, each of the aforementioned examples are violations of American law - discrimination against Christians is a form of religious discrimination, and as such, is almost always illegal. If you have been discriminated against on the basis of your Christian religion, you can file either a complaint or lawsuit in order to receive legal resolution. Cases of discrimination against Christians could sometimes result in substantial penalty for the guilty party.
