The term gender sexual harassment is used to describe a situation in which an individual is being discriminated against through sexual advances because of his or her gender. For example, if his or her employer through sexual advances is harassing an individual, the employee may feel that he or she must endure the harassment as a way of avoiding a loss of their job, income or advances. However, sexual harassment may be from other employees, customers or even those who are contractors of a business. The liability of the business is based on state laws in regards to sexual harassment.
