Housing Application Discrimination

Housing application discrimination is a term used to describe any type of discrimination that occurs when an individual is denied housing, although they have proper credentials to obtain and pay for the housing. In general, early discriminations included disabilities, in that individuals who had disabilities where unable to obtain loans or housing because of their disability. There are many other forms of discrimination including race, gender and sexual orientation, which could also be the cause of an individual failing to obtain housing. This may be due to a lender's discrimination or to a landlord's discrimination.
