Indian Discrimination

In America, citizens are granted with an equal right to life. Equal rights doesn't necessarily mean that all people receive the same opportunities, but that they can pursue these opportunities without being treated unfairly. Indian discrimination is a type of discrimination where a person is acted against unfairly due to their race, which in terms of Indian discrimination, is of India or Native America. Discrimination may occur in education, employment, housing, or harassment. By means of the Civil Rights Act, discrimination against Indians is illegal throughout the Untied States.

At times, Indian discrimination may not even involve a person of Indian descent, but rather will involve those who appear to be Indian. As a result, individuals of middle-eastern or northern African descent may be profiled as Indian, and therefor be discriminated against as well. This common variant of Indian discrimination is not justified either, and is unlawful according to American law.
