Racial Discrimination Against

Racial discrimination against persons of any race constitutes race discrimination, which is illegal in the United States and most other countries. According to the law, citizens are guaranteed their constitutional right to life - racial discrimination against a person violates that right. In 1964, the Civil Rights Act, known primarily for outlawing segregation, was extended to prohibit race discrimination on any level or any setting. States and cities may also have their own laws that govern race discrimination in support of those included in federal legislation.

Race discrimination includes discriminatory actions such as refusing to provide housing, limiting educational opportunities, or terminating employment on the basis of race. In this context, race can be defined as either the color (white, black,) or national origin(Mexican, Iranian, Chinese, French) of an individual. If you have been affected by race discrimination, it is advisable to consult with a discrimination lawyer. A professional will be needed to guide you through the lawsuit process if you hope to meet the necessary resolution.
