Women Discrimination In The Workplace

Since the early-mid 1900s, women discrimination in the workplace has been a growing concern in the realm of employment. In general, women discrimination refers to any discriminatory actions that are taken against a women based on her sex. At the workplace, discrimination can easily come into play during the hiring process, and may even remain after a a person has been hired. But regardless of where it occurs, the law is very clear that discrimination in the workplace is illegal. Women discrimination in the workplace will often times consists of denying a job offer, lowering the bar on salary, sexual harassment, or any other sex-based discriminatory actions that take place. For employers that discriminate against women, there can be severe repercussions, sometimes monetary, that can take place if a lawsuit is filed.
